Humble Beginnings

Sterling Staffing Solutions started in the Fall of 2011, founded by twin brothers who both served in the US Army and fought for our country in Operation Desert Storm/ Freedom and supported other tours of duty, raised by a single mother, they know struggle:

Stephen L. Carter, MBA, PMP – CEO & Founder who honed his skills as a business executive who focused on change management and turning around poorly ran companies has led the strategic success of SSS.

Dr. Sterling L. Carter, DPT, MS, CSCS – COO & Founder is the visionary of this company and the clinical expert that established the operational foundation for our business model.

We began with one home health agency client contract for services, one physical therapist (Dr. Sterling L. Carter) and serviced 2 patients twice a week for our first month on the southwest side of Houston…a grand total of 16 visits.

  • Providing scholarships/internships to students.
  • Hiring new college graduates giving them invaluable entry-level experience.
  • Bi-weekly mentoring of youth through the 100 BMOH program.
  • Provided mentorship to youth via the National Lemonade Day
  • Supported Hurricane Harvey victims by volunteering at shelters and donating to the JJ Watt Relief Fund and the Red Cross.
  • Volunteered at Habitat for Humanity to build a home
  • Donated to “Real Men Who Cook” Event focusing on ending hunger.
  • Volunteered on Thanksgiving Day to serve meals.
  • Volunteered on a 2-week mission trip to Kenya and Nairobi, Africa.

  • We use KINNSER as our Electronic Medical Record system which allows us to provide Medicare-ready, quality notes electronically, with speed and accuracy. In addition, allows us to create documents to fit your specific need.
